  • ‘Render each clip with a unique filename’ conform question

    Hey,

Just a quick question if someone could enlighten me. I have a day lined up for next and have just received the spec list for the shoot from the edit house. So whenever I deliver material it looks like this:

    Prores filename: A232C001_130610_R35G.mov
    MXF filename: A232C001_130610_R35G.mxf

A sample of their instructions are:
“Use timecode embedded in source clip.
assist using reel names from the source clip file.
Render the files using the following settings on the delivery page:
    1) MXF DNX 36 8 bit
    2) Individual source clips
    3) Use source files names
    4) Render each clip with a unique file name”

If I follow these instructions my filename would look like this.
    V1-0001_A232C001_130610_R35G.mxf

I don’t normally check the ‘Render each clip with a unique filename’. So my question is, before I query it with them next week and look a bit silly, does this conform? Is it right? Do I need to create a new ale? or is the original that is generated by the Alexa good enough? Am I missing something?

Sorry for my naivety. Any help would be amazing.
