Render challenge
Now I got a challenge for you.
My school is really ignorant so they don’t have QuickTime, because it’s a PC and “We can’t download nothing from the net” so my challenge is find a good compress format that needs to play in a computer without Quicktime, with good quality.
I was using MPEG-4, but i realised that it’s a pretty bad quality, or i am using it the wrong way.
And AVI is showing some problematic results, but also a tip may help me solve this.Thank you.

Ignorance is different form stupidity; one can be cured.
What are your other video applications using?
The same people who manage your network must be able to solve this for you. If the won’t do this for you, or cannot, you really do have an incurable problem.

Well, honestly i didn’t understand anything about “the guys who manage my network” i mean, what does that got to do with the video format?
About mine apps, i’ve got After, iMovie, Quick Time PRO.
The school have just Windows Media Player and that other weird movie player…
So, waiting for answer.

You have a real problem here and it’s you. You must figure out how to deal with or work around your proscriptive environment. You find the powers in charge of those decisions and ask them, nicely, how to manage your media needs and remain within the confines of their policy.

Of course. But your school’s IT people should have a solution for your media playback problems. If they don’t, you are, as they say, screwed.
Proscriptive policies like these are in place for excellent reasons. That you don’t like the policy is your problem. That you might be able to figure out how to deal with it is merely an interesting challenge if you have the maturity and patience to talk to the administrative experts who might be misinformed..[George Lodygensky] “So, waiting for answer. “

Second, I was asking for a video format that would play well in a windows with out QuickTime.
Third, it’s a Brazil’s school…
