Render Bars keep disappearing in CS5.5
Hi all,
I recently upgraded PremPro from CS5 to CS5.5.2.
I work mainly with AVCHD and HDV files
I work on a iMac 2.8 Ghz Intel core i7 / 8GB 1067 Mhz DDR3Since the upgrade, the render bars (yellow/red/green bars ontop of al your tracks, just under the timeline) keep disappearing. I have to switch to another timeline and wait 2 seconds to re-switch to the timeline where I want to see my render bars. I then, and only then, can render a portion selected on the timeline. When I start working again in this timeline, the render bars disappear again. It quite frustrating I must say. Has anyone encountered this problem and knows how to resolve it? Is my Mac maybe outdated? (I hope not !!!)

Is it necessary to render those areas for playback at all?
Maybe PPro is trying to tell you something.

You can always force a complete render of an area….

This function is also keyboard mappable…
