Renaming FCP HD
I’ve heard a little rumor that if I rename FCP HD before installing FCP 5, FCP HD will still be installed. Has anybody done this? Were there any problems?

I have not done this but I beleive it would be there reguardless…. I’ve always had to uninstall my previous version.

I did it. So far so good, but it’s just for primary troubleshooting and bug-testing of 5. It’s unwise to keep two versions of the same app alive for long.
