  Rename to Original File Names in FCP 7

  Looking for a way to go back to original files names from the log and transfer within a timeline. I was running out of space so moved a timeline over to new drive and original source footage files, which at that time were still the original names; however, with this new drive I wanted to restructure and rename the file names to scene numbers and such and wouldn’t you know it, the drive hit the floor recently and crashed before this particular version with new renamed files could be saved to the other backup drive. The drive is dead, but I have the timeline but it doesn’t want to reconnect the media because it has the new names that only existed on that drive I killed. So, is there a way to reconnect/relink the media from these new useless names to my old original file names?
