Removing yellow cast
I’ve imported an old VHS tape into movie studio which, apart from being very “rough” has a distinct yellow cast. I have tried various FX adjustments to remove this but all that happens is that the other colours get distorted. Many photo editing programs feature a yellow cast remover but I can’t find an equivalent for movie studio. Is there a simple way to achieve this?

The color corrector FX should be able to do this for you. You might find color curves interesting as well.
