August 24, 2005 at 11:28 am“good enough, quick way”: put the offending audio clips on their own track. Add graphic EQ and turn down the low frequencies until it starts to affect the voice. That will take a lot of it out.

August 24, 2005 at 5:20 pmI’ve found that fixing wind noise is next to impossible. Too many of the frequencies are mixed in with the voice. I’ve tried noise reduction and graphic eq and noise gate. The best I can do is slightly improve the sound, but not much. After that the voice gets very tinny.
Love to hear from someone who has figured out a way to do this.

August 25, 2005 at 12:48 amWell, the real way is to record the audio with a boom mic with one of those expensive furry windjammers on it so you get very little wind noise to begin with. All noise reduction programs work based on frequencies, some work better than others because they filter more selectively.
