Removing unwanted Effects?
There have been a lot of effects posted in on this forum. Some I will want to keep others not having tried them.
The problem I have at the moment is getting rid of them. Even having removed them from the motion custom effects folder and trashing them they still show up on the clip I have tried them out on. Not as working effects but still in the effect section of the video inspector.
It is not possible to delete the effect from the clip or the inspector as per the instructions in the manual.
So the only way I can resolve this issue is to re insert the clip onto the timeline from the events folder and delete the original clip.
So to sum up – if you add an effect to a clip and then subsequently remove the clip from the motion effects folder it still shows up as an effect in the inspector although it is not really there!
I’m thinking there must be another reference to an effect – another directory?
Anybody got any ideas?

I’m probably completely mis-understanding, can you not simply select the effect name in the video inspector and hit the backspace delete key?
That works here…. but only if I’m understanding correctly 😉
