    I think that you can find your answer in the Media Manager. You can let the manager make a new project without al the unused media.

    Or highlight the sequence in the bin and do a find (cmd+f) and find all unused footage in sequence. Then, in the resulting bin, highlight all the footage and choose make offline, and select to delete it.

    HOWEVER, be careful. If you have nested sequences, you’ll need to highlight them in the bin as well. The “find unused” command ignores nested sequences for some reason.

    And like anything else, double check and make sure the clips you’re about to delete aren’t used.

    Alternatively, a neat trick is to do a “find used” command and label the clips with a particular color. Then, in all your bins, if a shot has been used, it’ll be labeled that color.
