  • Removing the pulldown in FCP when shooting SP 24p

When I shoot SP 24p on the EX1 it seems to shoot over 60i and if I try to remove the pulldown the way I usually do with HDV 24p or DVCPROHD 24p in FCP/Cinema Tools it doesn’t work. Something about “Temporal compression”, does anybody know a way to remove the pulldown?

You must first transcode your XDCAM clip to ProRes. Cinema Tools can’t work with long GOP compression schemes, only intraframe codecs.
