    Hey all,

First of all Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.

I need to remove some text from existing source video. I have read on here about Virtualdub and Logoaway, but neither seems to have a mac version. Is there anything out there for mac? Or do you have any other suggestions on effectively removing text from video?

If you show an example of the video, it’ll be easier to give appropriate advice. The advice will differ based on the nature of the text, what it’s over, what kind of motion is in the scene, etc.

—- the short answer is probably make a patch in photoshop and motion track it on to the footage —

    — sometimes there are quite a lot of details to observe to get this really neat such as matching the grain — and sometimes this is much easier than it looks …

—- so much depends on the shot –

—– a couple of stills and a shot description ( at least ) are essential I think to give a confident reply.
