Removing Tape Names
Here’s a wierd one. I imported a bunch of footage from quicktimes. They were originally pro res (and since we don’t have MC5) I converted them to DNxHD. They were imported, but to better organize in the project, I assigned them tape names calling them POV01, POV02, and so forth.
Now, I’m trying decompose and I see that I could just decompose the captured footage, but since I gave them tape names, Avid doesn’t see those clips as imported clips. My conundrum is, how can I remove the tape name information so that I can decompose these?

Nevermind, I’ll use Expert Decompose and tell it to not decompose those shots. All is good.
