    Hi guys,

I have perhaps a very basic question.

I’m trying to export an .obj from c4d to use in Video Copilots Element 3d in AE.

The problem I’m having is that it seems to be taking some kind of HDR sky dome element along with it, although I can’t see anything in the model list.

Here’s an image from the import into Element 3d

and here is my object list in c4d

Can anyone suggest what might be causing this?

    A further question,
when I import into element, part or the detailed logo on my model is corrupt. Are there settings where I can preserve this detail?

    Thanks for your help,

    Moog

In case anyone comes looking, I fixed this issue in Element 3d. In ‘Render Settings>environment’, there’s an ‘Override Layer’ selector. Change that to ‘None’ and voila!
