Is there any way to remove shadows or at least lessen their intensity? I recently shot some footage with some poorly placed lights and this created artifical looking shadows on the walls. Any way I could fix that?

Thanks Dave. I’ve learned some harsh lessons after this shoot. I didn’t even know what color bars are supposed to look like before this. I do plan on reshooting eventually, but I’m going to try to do what I can with the footage I have now to help me learn some of the programs better. I don’t even want to get into the whole 24p, 60i, pulldown, nonsense. I’ve trouble some other forums with those questions.

If you can re-shoot soon, for whatever reason, you may be able to salvage the footage with Shadow/Highlight. It’s the same as the PhotoShop plugin, so google that for tuts, there are lots out there, several go into detail for your problem.
