    I have a 3 minute clip of 2 people having a conversation.

i would like to remove some people that are in the shot but not needed.

Can i do that in AE CS5? If so, what tool in AE do i need to study up on?

    thanks

What tool you use will depend on what the shot looks like. If you shot a blank plate of the background, then all you’ll need is some basic masking. If you didn’t, you’ll need to shift some layers around in time and use masking and/or use the clone tool.

it is an outdoor scene, no blank background shot.

nearly everything in the background is static and doesn’t move in the shot except for the person that i want to get rid of in the shot. he is standing still, but there is natural movement
