  • Removing HVDVD_TS Folder in builds location

    Hi there,

I recently reinstalled FCS3 – and by accident I must have selected HD video standard when i launched DVD Studio pro for the first time. I realized my mistake when I burned a dvd and it would play in DVD player or my computer (although it worked fine in simulator). So in the preferences window I changed it back to SD dvd – but when i pressed the burn button again (after re-authoring dvd with SD setting) the following message appeared:

“The Build Location folder contains a HVDVD_TS folder(HD DVD content). You must remove the HVDVD_TS folder from the Build Location in order to proceed with Build/Format of a Standard DVD project”

Sorry if this is a stupid question but – how do I do this? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

    K

Just navigate to the location set in DVDSP as the build folder, then take the HDDVD_TS folder you find there and drag it to the trash (or recycle bin). Then you will be good to go. DVDSP will put a new VIDEO_TS folder in its place.
