removing compression artifacts
The project that I’m working on has source footage with lots of blocky compression artifacts, I think from being converted to an MPEG codec before I imported in as DV. Does anyone have tips on how to best remove/hide/blend these?

one thing that may help is to blur the chroma channel slightly, one of Joes plugins can do this for you.
