I’m working on a project where we are using a wireless mic. After capturing the footage, I noticed that there was a buzz that got louder when the talent was talking and a lot quieter when he was not. I tried using the Noise Reduction in Audition but it didn’t pick up the Buzz. Any idea how to fix this?

Here’s a sample to see if anyone has any ideas how to fix this: Audio Clip

You need to bring your file into the edit side highlight “JUST THE NOISE” then open the noise removal tool save that as an FFT … Now highlight the entire wave, open the noise removal tool and bring in the saved FFT … WILLIE

I tried that and it cleaned up the background noise, but the hum is still there. Any ideas?

Here’s what I ended up with: Download File
