    Hi Guys

I have some video footage that Im re-rendering.

Problem is, it has black bars at the top and bottom.

I want to add some new footage BEFORE this video and also remove the bars.

Problem is, the footage I add automatically extends past the bars.

    So 2 questions:

How do I remove the black bars but keep the aspect ratio?

And how do I ensure new footage added is defaulted to the new aspect ratio that removes these bars?

    Here’s a picture

I want it to be a WMV sized at 640×360 (which is the orginal footage settings).

    Thanks!

Make sure your project properties (File – Properties) are set to 640 x 360.
Any footage that isn’t this aspect ratio can be matched by opening up the Pan/Crop window on the clip, right-clicking and selecting Match Output Aspect on it.
