Removing AU Audio Filters From list
1.67GHz PowerbookG4
1GB RAMI use my computer for both Audio and Video editing (Seperate programs for each). I have many WAVES, and IZOTOPE mastering plugin’s. A few weeks ago my Final Cut Pro 4 was working good. Recently I noticed a long start-up time… my audio plugin’s are compatible audio unit’s and are inside my audio filters section (never noticed until now). Izotope especially are very big plugin’s. My Final Cut Pro now drops frames and is unusable.
Please tell me if there’s anyway to remove or customize which audio unit’s Final Cut Pro will accept.
I’d like ot remove it all. I can imagine this has been asked again and again and again but I’m very confused why the program would work fine a week ago and now is horrendous. I can’t believe my computer cannot handle a few seconds of straight DV. It doesn’t make sense to me… Hopefully it makes sense to you and you can help me.Thank you,
