Is there any “easy” way to do this?
The video is 3+ min with over 100 shots. I know the manual way to do this, but hoping there is an easy way to do.

    thx

Do you have Final Cut Studio? Compressor has a Reverse Telecine feature which detects broken cadence and adjusts accordingly.

OUr FieldsKit product ($89.95) has a plugin that allows you to animate the cadence at the cadence changes. You have to manually add keyframes for the cadences, but it’s better than cutting the clip up, reimporting into AE, removing pulldown and gluing back together.

And you’ll get a great deinterlacer too.

Why don’t you try the demo: https://www.revisionfx.com/products/fieldskit/downloads/#ae_compatible_6
