  • Removing 1 pixel wide blur on straight lines.

I am picking up a project started by another (real) designer. It mostly consits of text and rectangles. So most of the lines are straight and horizontal or vertical. But I guess some of the shapes have been stretched to fit various versions. I think they were made in Illustrator. And I guess as a result, there is often a 1 pixel wide blur of light blue between the dark blue solid and the yellow background.

How can I get rid of that 1 pixel wide line? I’m not much of a designer/AE person. I tried the continuously rasterize check box and I tried full rendering, but to no avail.

It’s annoying because the trial version was super sharp. But because of the need to do some stretching, some of the sharpness has been lost. And I think the text has been impacted a bit too.

In some cases, there are a few layers that have masks that should line up, so maybe that will be more difficult. But I can’t even improve the situation in places where there is a single background solid and a single masked solid.

Is there any way to fix things?

I’m using the latest Adobe AE.

    Thanks in advance.
