Vishesh – answer is probably to patch it from somewhere else in the shot but it depends – if you want to mail a still I’ll be able to tell you in more detail — chris

If the tilt is at a constant speed you may be able to offset the footage, key out the text and position the offset layer under in such a way that it matches the place where the text is. You will stil have to play around with cloning for the first part- making a clean plate (paint out the text) in PSD and moving that to match the camera move may help for that first part.

…………..should be an easy one …

1 ) take still into PS and carefully artwork out lettering

2 ) take art-worked still into AE and apply 2 masks – one for each of piece of lettering – adjust feathering till perfect patch is made

3 ) track shot if camera is not locked off apply motion track to cut-outs ( patches )

4 ) If there is grain on your footage add a grain effect to your patches

5 ) If hands move over type add as another layer on top and roto out / pull mask using footage as track matt.

    — and thats it …. should look perfect ———– chris —

virtualdub and logoaway plugin is the easiest/fastest. as to the highest quality, I haven’t directly compared it to clone stamping.
