Yes…but if you are aiming for Dynamic Link, forget it – the versions wont talk to each other.

No dynamic link. If I want to e.g remove dreamweaver cs4 from the master collection. Where do I have that option? I can only find how to remove the entire collection.

I used to have CS3 and CS4 simultaneously installed without issue. I see no reason why you can’t do that with CS4 and 5, and have all apps installed, or just one. Run the installer for CS4 and it should bring up the check boxes that will allow you to add/remove apps.

As Cory suggests, why would you remove the CS4 version? You should keep the old versions installed, too. I have the CS3, CS4, and CS5 versions of all applications in Master Collection on the same computer.

Thanks guys. I just thought that there would be some kind of a version issue but it works fine with having mulipleversions. Sweet.. But man. I need some more memory for the cs5 apps.

There is a very simple formula for determining the amount of RAM you need.

1 – Open the manual for your PC or it’s motherboard.

2 – Find the specs of the maximum amount of RAM it will support.

3 – Buy and install that amount of RAM.

Of course there is a step ‘2b’.

Check the balance of your bank account. Adjust ‘Step 3’ to the amount that ‘Step 2b’ will allow.
