I needed only once noise reduction, and for that only one occassion I didn’t want to purchase anything expensive like noise reduction plugin for Vegas family.
So I choosed Audacity for free and I can tell that I had an acceptable result (from a messed audio record)

Vegas Pro doesn’t have a plug-in for this. You need something that handles broadband noise. Sound Forge does have a Noise Reduction plug-ins that also works in Vegas Pro but you need to purchase Sound Forge.

I would look into Sound Soap. It’s a great plug-in that handles all sorts of background noise and isn’t too expensive.
