    Hello all.

I got footage of a filmed video installation including video projection. Because of the frequency difference (I think) between the camera and the video projector there is a lot of flickering in the projected images that were filmed. Is there any way to reduce/stabelize this flicker in premiere of After Effects?

I uploaded a small sample (15 MB) to show what it looks like: https://student-kmt.hku.nl/~charles/flicker.mov

    Thanks!

Unfortunately there is nothing you can do about that.
I have the same when i go with my pal camera to ntsc land and film in artificial light.

When you’re in a situation like this, it’s best to shoot computer screens and projection with clearscan enabled on your video camera. If you don’t have a clearscan function, you can pick one up from a rental house.

To fix in post is too difficult. Possible to reshoot?

Thanks for your quick replies. Shame there is no way to fix it now. I do have a chance to film it again but not untill next month since it’s located accross the other side of the Atlantic 😉

The clearscan function is a great tip however! I do have that function but didn’t know it existed. I will experiment with this.

    Thanks again.
