    Hi There!

I work with a lot of quicktime files that have both a video and audio layer to them. I never use the audio that is supplied, so I either have to delete the audio track that is added to the timeline, or right click from the media library and select add video only.

Either way results in quite a delay to my workflow. Is it possible to either batch remove the audio stream from a set of quicktime files, or perhaps within vegas tell the software to only work with the video streams? I would prefer not to re-encode any of the actual video.

Appreciate anyones help in advance here, and also recognise its a bit of a strange question!

What you are doing now, i.e., right-click drag and select Video Only is the correct way to do it. That is the workflow within Vegas to just add video. I don’t know of any batch processor that will remove the audio from Quicktime files and not re-encode the video.
