Remove attributes?
Posted by Elliot Pollaro on January 16, 2013 at 9:10 pmJust curious is there a remove attributes setting for the Audio? For example I have some clips that accidently had 10 limiters put on it.. I would like to just go in and select the clips and remove the audio effects from the clip. Is this possible?

January 16, 2013 at 10:54 pmI was going to say, I just tried that with an audio clip with a compressor/limiter on it and it just doubled up the effect.
Still, good to know it works for the video side of things…

January 17, 2013 at 3:12 amIf you select multiple clips and they all have the exact same filters, you can delete them en masse by selecting them all and deleting the offending filters.
All the filters must match, though, otherwise it gets buggy and inconsistent.
This function needs some help. Please tell Apple, pass it down.

From the inspector.

January 21, 2013 at 6:11 pmCan’t you do a match frame on the clip and do a replace / over write edit? Prior to doing this you could copy the clip if you need to paste any video-attributes back…
Not optimal but maybe a solution.
