Has anyone ever tried to control an Avid using PC Anywhere or like software?

I need to reformat (lengthen or shorten) and playback an already exsisting project I have edited. It will be played back to an “on-air” source. I have the route to air already worked out. Just need some advice on if it’s possible to run an Avid from another PC in a different location.

    Thanks in advance,
    Michael

It is, but you won’t be able to see moving Video. The video is part of the overlay on the graphics card, and not rendered in remote control windows.

I would recomend using a VNC client.
