    Hi.

I am to set up 5 plasmas 5 different places in a small town showing a program of commercials.

It’s not yet decided wether they’ll show video or powerpoints but that is not the main issue at the moment.

What I’m thinking of are plasmas with a MacMini as local stations. I will not stream the media to avoid internet hickups. The content will be screened in HD.

All stations will be connected through internet only – not a LAN. Broadbandconnection, though.

What I’m planning is to upload the content to an ftp server, and then (simultainously – if possible) download it to the local stations using Apple Remote Desktop.

If we’re not going the PowerPoint route, I’m planning to playback through iTunes – making looping playlists.

Does this sound like a viable solution?
