OK have used afp successfully to login to several macs on my local network in my studio. I need to set up my mac so I can log in to it from outside my local network. I believe I need to do this using tcp. How do I set this up?
Have enabled all permissions, FTP access, Firewall, appletalk etc on my mac and the downtown office mac. Have gone into my router to enable all incoming TCP/UDP traffic and surprised to find that my router sees my IP as different from the address which external sites report. they both start with 209. 47. etc then they differ?
Apart from this, how do I enable loging in to my mac from outside my external network.
