I just closed my office video/editing suite — where I edited along-side clients — and am now home based…

If I wanted to edit at a client’s office — for example — using a current Mac laptop and compressed files — would this be possible?? I’ve searched on this forum, but found nothing. The plan would be to re-link up to my Tower-based home system at the end of the day…

    thanks…

Have you tried using ProRes Proxy versions? It’s nice because it’s small and can stay at the same frame size as your originals. Reconnects nicely.

The easy solution is an external hard drive (DO NOT USE USB). All you need are the original media files and the project file.
