remote desktop or VNC from OSX to XP
hi.
Can i use Apple remote desktop to get the XP desktop from a XP box up un my screen?
I have 5 networked machines I’d like to run from one main screen at times, 3 permanently (OSX+XP+OSX) and two more randomly (XP+OSX)
Setup is like:
Main machine – has screen, mouse and keyboard
BackUp One (XP) – I’d love to run this just through the network without keyboard and mouse
Back Two (OSX) – same as the xpLaptop one – OSX – the on the road workhorse
Laptop two – XP – the accounting and management machine.Is it possible to run all this machines, when back in my studios, through ARD or is a VNC solution better? In case: Which?

I don’t know that this will do everything you want, but it’s a start, and it’s free:

You run it on your Mac and it lets you log into a Windows machine over a network. It might not solve all your problems, but you should certainly try it out to see what it can do for you.
