Is there any way to control FCP on a Mac Pro from a Mac Book Pro in another room on the same network?

Screen sharing, but there will be a lag in the video and it will not give you audio.

All I want to do is simple start, stop, home. Have an HDMI monitor in the next room for clients. Thought perhaps I could sit in with them to review comfortably….

You also use a KVM Switch with long cables if they’re not too long. Or you could bring the HDMI monitor into your room…. 🙂

But then the client would be in the room the whole day 😉

I wish there were an app for that….
