remap index value to be reversed
I need to create a new variable, say “rev_index” for indexes #62-109 and remap it so that the object with index # 62 now equals 109 and 109 now equals 62

Try this (not tested):
rev_index = Math.round(linear(index,62,109,109,62));

I came up with the index part, but the Math.round is good stuff
