Is anyone else choosing to remain on premiere CC 2014?

I have tried 2015 from the start right until the latest update (2015.2) and still find the playback to be extremely choppy and generally unreliable for client viewing.
I can open the same project in 2014 and its smooth as butter.
It feels like 2015 requires much beefier hardware to get playback as it’s incorporating the lumetri color system into every clip.

Does anyone else experience the same thing? I have to remain on 2014 because 2015 is too damn unreliable and its infuriating that in the latest version that things are so sluggish

    My imac specs are below:

I have a less beefier iMac and I don’t have any problems with the latest version.

[James Ashbolt] ” it’s incorporating the lumetri color system into every clip.”

It isn’t unless you are actually doing color changes in the lumetri panel.

    Hi…

    I tried running:

    PPro
    2015.1

    On my

    Mac Pro 3,1
    OSX El Capitan 10.11.2
    16GB Ram
    Nvidia GeForce GTX 680

I could not get continuous playback of any source. Play back would just pause intermittently for no obvious reason in both source viewer and sequence, regardless of quality settings.

Same source material plays back fine under PPro 2014.1
This has been reproduced behavior by other team members in my group with similar configurations.

I have reverted back to 2014.
