I have a project I’m working on in FCP7 and I need to re-link the media. Usually when I do this, I just choose to locate one of the files and the rest re-link. But in my current project when I choose to re-link a file, it doesn’t list the file name in the reconnect files window; instead of the file name it says “unspecified path”. When I look at the item properties of the clips, it does list the names of the files, but it says the source is missing. The only method I can think of would be to manually re-link every single clip and make sure I choose the right file each time, which would take a long time. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

yeah, i think you have to do those “unspecified path” file individually.

as Dave says try something else first:
    re-start,
or try an autosave version, see what happens.

depending on on how many file there are, and what you are wanting to achieve,
you might be better of re-building the edit.
