    Hello everybody,

Currently in the process of onlineing a sequence. I managed to relink the original footage without any problems. Now I’m trying to relink videos from youtube. It looks to me like the other AEs imported the footage in various DNX qualities, usually on the lower end. Now I’m just trying to uprez it for the colorist.

I read elsewhere on here that I basically have to reimport all the offline media to the resolution I desire. I did that and it works but I have to import the clips in their entirety. Is there a different method on how to do this? Preferably a quicker method?

    Thank you!

That sounds like a horrible task. I’d use a separate program to transcoded into your preferred DNxHD flavour as it’ll probably take a long time to import long h264 clips straight into Avid.
