Relinking AMA to Transcoded files
so I’ve been getting these error messages ( “a serious error occurred, save your work and restart” & then “avid pmm mismatch audio format”). It’s every time I open the project, everything was fine a few days ago then non stop errors, I can’t work on anything! So I transcoded all my media to DNxHD files , how do I relink my sequence clips to read the new transcoded DNXHD files, This is so frustrating! I gotta say, now I know why I made the switch to FCP a few years back, it has it’s own errors and what not but I’ve never not been able to work for days.
some please help…..

Unmount all the AMA volumes (not necessary) and relink. Choose a specific resolution. The sequence (and clips if you select them) ought to relink.
