    Hi.

I finished an hour long doc in resolve last week (all cut full res FCP). The client has now made changes to the edit adding pics and slipping. All I want to do is import the new sequence and relink all the work I’ve
already done and grade the new shots.

Not having a lot of luck.

    Any advice would be great.

    Danny.

    Hi Danny,

I’ll have to refer you to the resolve manual. Particularly page161 “Using ColorTrace to apply grades from one project to another”.

Sorry to send you to the manual, but the steps are a bit involved. But it works great. Check it out!

what you have to beware of is while its great that Colortrace brings in keyframes, it also adds them to mark previous in points on selected footage from master clips. This can sometimes cause spurious events within stretched clips.

    Did you use xml roundtrip?
Maybe you can import the new xml and add the new shots to the mediepo!?
