I just replaced the hard drive in my mac pro. I have a project with with a custom title created in motion, but now the title is showing offline in an existing project. The custom motion file is in the correct location on my new hard drive but FCPX shows the title as offline.
Any ideas on how to make the reconnect?
    thanks

Create a new custom title in Motion and publish it to FCPX. Then search for that title on your hard drive and note the location and folder structure. Mirror it with the title you migrated over and then FCP X should see it. You could also try reopening the title itself and Motion and republishing to FCP X as well but that would cause it to be a new title and might not resolve the offline issue.

    Thanks James
I have tried both of those but no joy. The correct title template shows itself in the title browser window within FCPX, but the project timeline shows all instances of the that title as unlinked.
    Strange
