Reliable link to EX1 firmware update??

Hi Julian,

You seem to be everyones saviour.
I would be very happy if you could send me the dropbox with earlier firmware upgrades so I can follow the advice here and attempt a rescue.
I attempted a v.1.30 upgrade and now the camera takes 5 mins to boot and shows error messages and the constant flashing tally lamp, and has no audio. Apart from that all seems to work.

Excellent thankyou Julian. Ill post my results.

So if I summarise correcty having failed to get to a working 1.30 I should start at 1.05 and work my way through ALL upgrades until I hit the one I want to stop at.

I am mostly interested in the SDHC card compatibility and will probably stop the process at that upgrade. Do you know at which Firmware version this was introduced?.

I haven’t ever had to step back that far.
The only issue I’ve come across is if I miss out the 1.10 version then the next one hasn’t always worked.
I don’t really know what your best option would be.
You may find some pointers earlier on in this thread … or in another firmware related one.

hey julian,could i also get the firmware.

wondering if anyone has had the same problem as me.
i am on windows 7 and the inf file i have for ver.1.10 is not recognized.
i tried to use the 1.3 inf file and it was recognized.but i couldn’t use the 1.10 uptool.

has anyone been able to use 1.10 inf file and uptool on windows 7.

maybe i have a bad file or something.

i am currently on 1.05
