Reliable DVD quality output
Hi,
I realize that Wirecast is designed as a webcasting software – but the interface and features are really perfect for my current situation.
I am creating a “digital soapbox” ( a small, self-publishing studio) for our comunity media center. Although we also ant to stream, the final result is intended for SD cable broadcast.
Can we rely on Wirecast to be able to consitntly deliver either a “realtime” audio / video out to a DVD recorder – or as a file recorded to the hrad drive (or network server)? Things have to kind of – “just work” on this system as much as possible so we can limit support time.
We are willing to drop some coin on a new Mac Pro with appropriate specs and hardware. We also want to run wirecast at all its capability – firewire, DV resolution, 3 cameras with live keying.
Thank you for your time and advise
Joe
