Reinstalling Windows – will Ilose Boris?
I’m about to reinstall Windows per the advice of Avid Support, and I was wondering if there’s an easy way to retain my Boris effects. We recently bought an used Adrenaline and don’t have a disc for Boris. Any advice? I don’t want to lose my Boris Effects!

Hi Marty,
Did you purchase the system from a dealer? If so then they should have a record of the Boris FX software sale and can get a new serial number for you. As long as there is a paper trail showing proof of purchase then you should be fine. You’ll need to get installers for the Boris FX software along with serial numbers for the same in order to reinstall on your system. The only way you will receive this from Boris FX is if you can present proof of purchase of the plug-ins.
