I had to wipe by c-drive and reinstall everything. Vegas 6 is back up and running, but none of the add-ons I had are there. I know there’s some simple thing I must do but cannot remember what it is. Can you help me?

    Thanks

If you mean different presets, use Preset Manager to re-install them.
If it’s not presets, then please be more specific.

I mean different FX, not part of the original Sony set.

Download and install them. Of course, it helps to know what they are and where you found them. I try to burn things like that to a CD or put them on my pen drive.

Thanks. In the past, plug-ins migrated each time I moved to a newer Vegas. Of course, this time I had to reinstall everything, and forgotten that at the start I’d done that. (I thought Vegas would automatically find and use them.) My duh, and thanks for the reminder.
