    Hello,
    Hope this isn’t too confusing;

    So I’ve got an hour long video file on my timeline. It’s been chopped up, rearranged, etc… etc down to about three mins of footage… and the accompanying audio files have been deleted off the timeline

    Is there a way to re-insert the audio for the files that have been edited other than going through the 60min file and manually inserting the audio again?

    Cheers,
    Dave A

    You could select a clip in the timeline and hit “Match Frame”. That will call up the master clip in the Source monitor, then with audio only selected in the timeline, hit “Overwrite”.
