Hello. I am about to play out to movie a project to master, which will in turn be submitted to a mass production DVD burning company.

I want the mass produced discs to be mulit region, (which I believe is designated by ‘0’).

However, I have been told that the regionalisation is done at the authoring stage.

Does by doing nothing leave the project multiregion by default? or does this still require some kind of encoding – if so, how/where does one do this?

I am using Premier 6.5 to assemble the project.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Many thanks,
    Gary

That would depend on the authoring software. Most default to all-regions but without knowing the software it’s hard to say.

Just make sure that regions 1 to 6 and 8 are turned on in your authoring software. There is no such thing as “region 0”.
