    hi,

    i’m new to v7, coming straight from v5.5.

    i’m getting used to the interface, but can you tell me how to shut off the region selection tool??? it gets in the way when doing masks, and pops up all the time..

    can you shut it off? or lock and freeze it? if so, how???

    I have never used 7 but in 6.0 it si at the bottom of the comp witdow next to the mask and transparent background switches.

    Option/Alt-click the Region of Interest icon a the bottom of the compostion viewer panel to reset it to none.
