    Hi there

    How do you regen a time code ie when going back to a tape used previously,on the Sony there is a regen switch,but cant find that on the varicam?

    Page 183 of the Goodman’s Guide. VTR main menu–TC/UB(5.6)–First record TC–set to REGEN.

    So you have to go into the VTR menu to set regen.I think to just have a switch is easier,but no big hassle I guess.
