Reg. Lip non-sync
I’m from a leading south Indian TV channel. We are facing Lip non-sync
issues.Our work flow chain is as follows:
A source clip is edited using FCP and is exported as QT to server,
This clip is then played through B4M Fork automated playout software.The video out is through a AJA Kona Card from playout server.
Here in this chain there is no non-sync in source clip or the edited clip, but the final video out from server is with Lip non-sync.
Could anybody help me out to get rid of this issue.

If the Qt file is in sync, then the issue is with your playout server. FCP and creating the Qt should be left as it is. Do not try to compensate in FCP.
As this is a Final Cut Forum, I don’t know if anyone here will have any experience with that server. Have you contacted Kona or the agents for that particular server? They may know what the correct setup is for that card/ server combination.
